After reading the earlier reviews, I was looking forward to the arrival of this heater. Perhaps the one sent to me was defective, but when turned on it generated noxious (toxic?) fumes that quickly resulted in eye and pulmonary irritation. I ran it for 30+ hours in the garage with the door open in an attempt to burn off what ever was causing the fumes, but without success.
Further, the unit didn’t strike me as being particularly well-made: it was wobbly and the adhesive for the top central Optimus label wasn’t up to the task as the label either fell off or slipped askew when the heater was turned on.
