Got this item in the mail, and it met my expectations of Black & Decker quality.
(With one exception – apparently, there’s a version of this item that comes without the tape measure. That’s the one I got. Not that it’s a major issue, but it would have been nice for all the “stuff” to have been there.)
All the rest of the features are fully functional, and this will fill the gap nicely between a hand-held “old-fashioned” screwdriver and the larger cordless drills I own.
A good tool-box-sized item, or even a good thing to keep in the kitchen junk-drawer for spontaneous light-duty drill/driver needs. It may even find it’s way into the car for “just in case” on road trips.

Used this about 5 minutes before something stripped internally. Wouldn’t recommend it at all. Spend a little more and get something worthwhile. Otherwise, the return To Amazon was easy and went without a hitch.

This product does the job it was purchased for, well. It fits nicely in the hand, is lightweight, well made and fairly priced. With the dual speeds, it doubles as a drill for smaller jobs, which comes in handy, and the reverse option is an added plus! After an overnight charge it seems to hold its power. A little more torque would be nice, but isn’t that always the case! And, once again, Amazon.com made this a very smooth transaction. I got this at Christmas and like the way it works. The thing I don’t like about it is that I also got the 71-966 drill set that they advertise that goes with this screwdriver/drill. Don’t believe them, the drill bits do not fit this item the other things that come with the set does. After complaining to Black & Decker I did get the correct drill bits, but they should change their advertisement online to fit the product.
