Nikon digital photography basically uses digital technology for the process of making images of the photographed objects. Unlike film prints, digital photographs can display, print, manipulate, and even transmit images using computer. almost all digital cameras operate as a self operating units, especially those at the lower end, which has in built zoom lens, flashes etc. the higher end digital cameras have separate camera back, which are attached to SLR cameras, like the Nikon SLR camera.

Nikon cameras

You must have known about Nikon cameras, which are one of the most reputed company in camera manufacture since the 1960s.their 35mm Sarthe Nikon F was famous from its day of introduction and remained top in list of favourite cameras for almost two decades after that. The attractive feature of Nikon is the Nikko 35mm and the digital lenses. Though there were talks about receding the production of 35mm SLR’s, they still are in production, especially the ones that are manually operated. the range of camera in Nikons production vary widely, like the Nikon35mm, Nikon, coolpix, digital cameras, Film scanners, lenses, Digital SLR’s.and to tell the many accessories that go with these cameras, would well take another article.

Speaking of variety, you have to know the two generation cameras that Nikon cameras have come across, namely the generation -1 and generation -2 cameras.

Generation -1

Cameras start with the SLR D1 in 1999, now we have a range till D 40. The general features of these cameras are:

1. Primitive picture with white balance adjustments.

2. Image menu is optimized with only two adjustments like + and – for high and low of that feature.

3. Lesser dynamism in range and more than two modes that were usually not used by many.

Examples – D1, D2, D40, D40x, D50, D70etc

Generation -2 Cameras

The DSLR’s starts with D3 to D300. Some of their salient features are

1. They give better image because of Adaptive Dynamic Range (ADR).

2. Ad gives trueness to the picture and does not add all those unwanted colours, contrast to brightness.

3. Controls the light passage on its own.

4. The picture control menus are set with direct control to a magnitude of +/-3.

5. They have WB adjustments to a tune of 6 units making it easy to adjust colour and lighting,

6. Off late Nikon has included colour adjustment and totally less manual corrections would be required.

price range

I know you did have an idea of what you would get at what price from the above list. some of the customers that bought Nikon digital cameras have great satisfaction both with respect to price and product that they have been praising them from day one. a person who recently bought the d700 says his world has changed since he bought it.

Some accessories that you get when you buy Nikon digital cameras are:

Nikon 50mm Conventional Lens

58mm 2X Telephoto Lens

2 X 16GB Secure Digital (SD) Memory Card

650-1300mm Long Range Lens etc

The Sixties

Filed under: Presidential Assassinations — Tags: — postkembali @ 6:18 pm

A decade that stands out above the rest of our world’s history as a time of revolutionary changes from all over the globe – changes that even effected outer space. There was unprecedented levels of sexual freedom celebrated among the world’s youth, and teenagers around the world revolted against the generations before them. Radio brought the people completely new sounds in music, with the chart toppers fighting over the number one spots each week. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, among others, released one hit after another throughout the sixties.

Stardom the likes that no one had ever experienced before surrounded The Beatles, both in the UK and in the United States. Jimi Hendrix played guitar like no one had ever heard it played previously, and remains one of the world’s favorite guitar players of all time.

There were presidential assassinations, as well as deaths of famous people who were killed for standing up for their beliefs and leading others to make changes; Martin Luther King, JR and Malcolm X.

The sixties were a time of innovation, new products and services were developed, and discoveries of technological advances led to the first man to walk on the moon, and placing a satellite in orbit.

In the UK, Parliament made abortion legal in 1967, as a result of the changing ideals of sex and love. Fashion and clothing styles changed, skirts became shorter, jeans became tighter, and women’s clothing in particular just became much more revealing than it had ever been socially acceptable previously. Mini-skirts were the norm, and models like “Twiggy” reinforced in the young people’s eyes that thin was in. Young ladies around the globe began starving themselves to try and fit the image, leading to eating disorders and image issues that women are still dealing with to this day.

The sixties were also the time of the infamous “WOODSTOCK”, an outdoor concert held in upstate New York. Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in a vacant field to hear some of the most popular musicians and bands on a handmade stage. There was rain, there was mud, there were landslides and total chaos as no one expected that many people to show up.

Amazingly, there was no money made at the event, as tickets were never actually sold and people just swarmed the makeshift gates to get into the concert area. Musicians were brought in with helicopters, and took the stage to give what was undoubtedly their most memorable performances of all time. Most of the people couldn’t even hear the music, they were located so far away from the stage- but the experience of the weekend was beyond anything anyone had ever known. There have been attempts to recreate the wonder of Woodstock, but there will never be another event like it- our current world would require far more security to keep people safe, and even with the 450,000 individuals who spent the weekend in Woodstock, less than 4 were killed – you can be sure that the numbers would certainly be higher if such an event was to take place in our current times.

Acupuncture for Facial Twitches

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Acupuncture is a unique treatment in that it can treat many different problems with different causes. This includes habitual facial twitching.

There are a wide range of disorders that are characterized by problems with the nerves and muscles of the face. One of these is known as Bell’s palsy. Doctors are not completely sure of the cause of this common affliction, but it is suspected that it might be related to a viral infection of the facial nerves. It tends to strike people between the ages of twenty and thirty five. The symptoms include facial paralysis and numbness. Bell’s palsy will clear up without treatment in about 80% of cases although the duration of the illness might be as long as a year.

There is a town located in China that has an abnormally high rate of Bell’s palsy. Acupuncturists in this town have had much experience in its treatment and have developed some techniques that are extremely effective. One of these involves the rapid insertion and then removal of needles on points located on the face itself.

Acupuncture is also indicated in the treatment of a related syndrome known as facial twitching. This is defined as an involuntary twitching or contraction of a muscle that takes place when another muscle is stimulated. Its cause has thought to be the growing back or twigging of nerve branches in the wrong place after trauma. The nerves tend to stimulate muscles they are not intended to stimulate. One of the symptoms of this condition is the tearing of one eye when another facial muscle is being used. For instance, the tearing can be triggered by the movement of the mouth during eating.

These facial disorders are fairly common and they are generally temporary. In some cases, they can be the result of what appears to be permanent damage to nerves and do not respond to treatment at all. One of the major side effects of this problem is emotional distress. The distortion of facial muscles is viewed as grotesque at best.

Acupuncture for facial muscle twitching is often attempted. As in many conditions, there is a shortage of reliable clinical studies addressing the effectiveness of acupuncture as a treatment for any facial nerve disorder. This is true even though this is a possible area for the resolution of some conflict on the general effectiveness of acupuncture in general. Western Medical Practitioners tend to see the nerves as serving the purpose that practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine attribute to the Meridian Channels of the body. The success rate of acupuncture treatments for nerve related disorders such as this would be very interesting indeed.

Men’s Jogging Suits

Filed under: Affliction — Tags: — postkembali @ 1:38 pm

Image : http://www.flickr.com

In the 1980′s, when fitness awareness became very popular, the track suit was modified into the now-popular jogging suit. A lightweight zippered top and loose bottom pants that are gathered at the cuff became the popular design for jogging suits. These jogging suits also came in different colors, usually bright colors, and in different types of fabrics the most popular of which are the knitted fleece, stretch velour, knit pique, and stretch terry. Newer fabrics came into the jogging suit construction such as Dri-fit, CoolMax, Thermax, and others. These new fabrics have wicking characteristics as they allow perspiration to easily escape and evaporate outside of the clothing material thus keeping the jogger dry and cool at the same time.

Men’s jogging clothes can be worn separately or as coordinates. The top parts can be mixed and matched with the bottom parts so it is very unusual to find joggers wearing different colors on top and another color on the bottom.

Men’s jogging suits are dependent on the weather when the jogger will be going out for his runs. But it is not a problem anymore as you can find in the market different kinds of jogging suits that fit different kinds of weather conditions be it the blazing heat of summer or the blizzard conditions during winter. Running shoes, which are essential parts of the ensemble, come also in different styles to suit the weather. There are mesh materials for summer and water-proof tops for jogging in the snow. Jogging accessories are also determined by the weather conditions such as gloves or mitts for summer and mesh hats for summer jogs.

For winter jogging, men’s attire must be layered to protect the body from the extreme cold condition on the road. The first layer of clothing must be a wicking base that must be made from synthetic material which will wick the perspiration away from the body while keeping the body dry and warm. It is not advisable to wear cotton as the base layer because it will get wet and stay wet when you perspire, chilling you as you go on your jogging run. The second or middle layer must be heavier than the base layer to further insulate the body while still wicking the moisture outward. This layer must be loose fitting and must easily be removed if the weather condition fluctuates. The third and outer layer must be a jacket or a vest that must be windproof and waterproof but lightweight and breathable to allow perspiration to evaporate. Gloves and mittens could be added for further insulation.

During summer, men’s jogging suits consist of comfortable and lightweight mesh top made of fabric with wicking characteristics and running shorts made of Supplex nylon which will hang comfortably and will not stick to sweaty skin. Cotton fabric is not recommended as they cling to the body once they get wet. Mesh running shoes that will allow perspiration to evaporate and a good pair of wicking socks made of acrylic will add comfort to the jogging.

Regardless of the weather condition, it is now possible to get jogging suits for male joggers that will provide protection against the elements and give comfort to the joggers at the same time. We may add that they are fashionable too.

Golgo 13 – Queen Bee

Filed under: Presidential Assassinations — postkembali @ 11:52 am

Golgo 13 – Queen Bee Duke Togo is BACK!! – T. Davis – Chicago
This is more of the action you crave from the 1st installment of this title. Difference? Sharper visuals and animation! A great story to boot- made me actually feel sorry for the ‘villian’. Awesome opening song as well!

If you like Golgo 13, you can’t go wrong with this one.
Those other guys are just nit-picking in my opinion…
A movie about getting the job done – D. Chin – Sacramento, CA USA
this movie has good animation with guns, explosions, violence, sex, hitmen, and some killing for the sport of it, for example with the good ol’ knife in the head.
: Code name: Golgo 13 – Professional assassin.
Target: Queen Bee – leader of dissident South American liberation army.
Mission: Terminate the infamous Queen Bee before she kills a high profile presidential candidate.
Problem: Queen Bee is not your average guerrilla radical. As a child, she was ripped unmercifully from her home and left to fend for herself on the streets. As a woman, cunning and powerful, she lives only for passion and revenge; her brand of honey is deadly. Once Golgo 13 discovers Queen Bee’s true identity, he decides that he must step aside as a very personal feud climaxes to a tragic end that will blow you away!

With its intricate plot and pulse-pounding action, Golgo 13: Queen Bee stays true to the thrilling scenarios that have made the “Golgo 13″ character such a success spanning a theatrical movie, comic books, and video games! More than 15 years after the debut of The Professional: Gogol 13 (1983), Duke Togo, the assassin-hero of Takao Saito’s popular manga, returns to the screen. Queen Bee plays like the animated daydreams of a frustrated high school sophomore: lots of nudity, sex, and violence, strung together by an over-the-top, clichéd story line. A ruthless Democratic vice presidential candidate hires Gogol to murder Sonia, a.k.a. the Queen Bee, because of her ties to his weak-willed running mate. She’s a big-time cocaine dealer and the assistant leader of a Marxist revolution in a small Central American country. Although she’s had at least eight children by different fathers, Sonia is built like a brick guerrilla camp. Her amoral indifference to murder and her sexual passion make her fire to Gogol’s ice. Gogol and Sonia have no trouble outwitting the Secret Service, U.S. law enforcement, and a rogue army unit led by a deranged Vietnam veteran. But their mutual respect and passion don’t stop Gogol from fulfilling his contract. U.S. viewers can only hope Japanese audiences don’t see this bloody James Bond rip-off as a realistic portrait of American politics. Rated for mature audiences ages 18 and older for graphic sex, profanity, tobacco use, and extreme violence. –Charles Solomon

Affliction Leveling Spec – A Warlock Leveling Spec For WoW

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Affliction warlocks have incredibly mana efficiency, good damage, and the ability to easily tank mobs thanks to a variety of drains. This makes it very obvious that one of the best choices for leveling a ‘lock is an Affliction leveling spec. We’ll also discuss Glyph choices, so you can get the most from the spec!

- 5/5 Imp. Corruption

- 2/2 Imp. Drain Soul

- 2/2 Soul Syphon

- 1/2 Imp. CoA

- 3/3 Fel Concentration

- 2/2 Imp. CoA

- 1/2 Imp. Life Tap

- 3/3 Emp. Corruption

- 2/2 Nightfall

- 1/1 Syphon Life

- 4/5 Shadow Embrace

- 5/5 Shadow Mastery

- 5/5 Contagion

- 1/1 Dark Pact

- 3/3 Malediction

- 1/3 Eradication

- 1/1 Unstable Affliction

- 1/1 Pandemic

- 3/3 Eradication

- 1/3 Death’s Embrace

- 5/5 Everlasting Affliction

- 1/1 Haunt

Now, you’re going to want to go over to Destruction after you get Haunt. There are a few Affliction talents that you might want to finish or get for your Affliction leveling spec, but you’ll see more advantage going immediately to Destro right now.

- 5/5 Imp. Shadow Bolt

- 5/5 Bane

- 5/5 Ruin

At this point, you’ll have five points left; put them in whatever talents you want. It’s not going to make much difference at this stage, though; you’ll probably be ready to respec out of your Affliction leveling spec to a real endgame spec at this point. Now, let’s discuss Glyphs. For Major Glyphs, there are a few tempting options. In order of preference, here are some good ones:

- Corruption

- Life Tap

- Syphon Life

- Quick Decay

And for minor Glyphs, it doesn’t really matter. I like to get Unending Breath early, just because swimming sucks, but that’s all I really have to say about Minor Glyphs. I hope this spec makes your journey from level one to level eighty quick and painless!

Rise of the Ambassador – An Invisible Generation Discovers Itself

The most powerful generation ever raised in America doesn’t even know it exists – yet. This new book will change that completely, while turning the “Generation Jones” theory on its head.

There is a forgotten generation rising up and flexing its muscle in America today, and not a moment too soon.

Because of its unique placement in history, this generation was destined to change the world from the very beginning. Indeed, it already has – profoundly so. There has never been a generation with the combination of perspective, experience, and ability that this one possesses.

“More than any other generation alive today, the Ambassador Generation represents Hope,” says author Lance T. Walker. No one else has our ingrained sense of Old School values, combined with our command of New School technology as tool, not just toy. No one else shares our historical perspective. No one else has lived the kind of life we’ve lived – ever.”

Sandwiched between the Baby Boomers and Generation X, the Ambassadors are defined by the changes in America following the Supreme Court’s historic Brown vs. Board of Education in 1954. They were shaped by their participation in the great school integration efforts of the 60s and 70s.

According to Mr. Walker, the Generation Jones concept correctly identifies a “lost generation” that grew up during the sixties. However, it misses the boat completely when trying to explain the reasons why they fell off the radar. “It wasn’t just that promises were made and not kept,” says Lance. “The Sixties Kids disappeared from view because of the Boomers’ reaction to the violent crushing of the civil rights movement, the trauma of a series of high profile assassinations, and ultimately the loss of the entire liberal agenda that the election of Richard Nixon as President in 1968 represented.”

Contrary to the image of a bunch of spoiled, conservative-leaning suburbanites that the Generation Jones theory describes, the real portrait of the Ambassador Generation is one of well-disciplined children, mainly of color, who were forced to bear the weight of the country’s desegregation effort because adults simply refused to do so. It’s also a story of deep suffering and ultimate victory, as the Ambassadors were targeted by not one, but two deadly plagues in the 1980s that threatened to wipe them off the map while they were still in there teenage years.

Mr. Walker paints a compelling portrait of a strong, determined generation that was trained to beat the odds before they even learned to read. As a result, a nation of leaders was created, one that’s been quietly seeking its identity and awaiting its opportunity.

It has now found both, along with a standard-bearer, in the person of the new Democratic Presidential nominee, Barack Obama.

According to the book, this makes the Ambassadors much more than just a demographic to be marketed to. Rather, they represent a can-do way of looking at the world that is desperately needed.

Rise of the Ambassador is fascinating reading. It describes familiar Historical events from an entirely different perspective than the one we are used to seeing. It is also a direct, scathing indictment of the right-wing conservative agenda in place over the last 40 years.

Entertaining, and at times shockingly insightful, the book describes quite convincingly how the “Children of the Dream” have been training their whole lives for a mission of national hope and reconciliation, one which they alone have the skill set to complete.

More than just a commentary, It also proposes a step by step goals agenda for the Ambassador Generation to focus on achieving immediately. “This world already has more than its share of hawks and doves, sharks and carp, wolves and sheep”, says Lance. What it desperately needs more of is Ambassadors”.

The book is available in print, ebook, and audio format through the web site, http://www.skyvaultpublishing.com/GMJ11.html

A noted author and e-business consultant, Lance T. Walker is also Managing Director for the SkyVault(TM) Multimedia Publishing Group (www.skyvaultpublishing.com), which specializes in the production, publishing, and promotion of information products in the personal development and self improvement arenas. Lance is available for speaking engagements through his website (www.lancetwalker.com)

I am a offspring of the Ambassador Generation I was taught to use my skills to make the world a better place. This is truly a remarkable book that has really inspired me to get off my couch and really chase my dreams. It really touched bases with me, having that knowledge added I feel more spiritual, inspirational, and motivational.
