We are currently seeking a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor for our Los Angeles division.

Job Description
• This position combines management of field operations with business administration
• Manages multiple landscape maintenance projects and coordinates company resources
• Procure and/or account for all materials used on assigned projects and complete required cost reporting
• Tracks and accounts for all labor, materials and quality status of multiple landscape maintenance accounts
• Manages company resources to meet established performance goals.
• Acts and the primary intermediary between field operations and company management
• Acts as the primary management contact for customers with the authority to make decisions and execute agreements by and between the company and client
• Identify extra work opportunities on assigned projects, create and present proposals for the enhancement work and manage the successful completion of extra work sold
• Collect and ensure the timely submittal of safety meetings, material invoices, delivery slips and time sheets
• Conduct or oversee the field level training and enforcement of company safety policies and reporting procedures
• Identify and correct all unsafe conditions or activities in the work place and report actions to the Safety Officer and Division President
• Oversees the training of field personnel on all maintenance equipment and operations
• Responsible for evaluating subordinate direct reports and assists them in evaluating individual crewmembers
• Assist the Foreperson with work force scheduling appropriate to each maintenance account

Job Skills/Qualifications:
• Able to demonstrate a thorough mastery of all of the knowledge and skills required by the Maintenance Foreperson job description
• Able to meet production and quality standards for assigned portfolio of accounts
• Manage assigned projects, overseeing irrigation scheduling and practicing effective water management techniques
• Demonstrate a through knowledge of fertilizer types and use conditions
• Able to identify by common names of 100 frequently used plants that appear on the CLT plant list and explain the cultural requirements of each
• Able to read and follow plans, generate material lists and apply necessary time lines for enhancement work
• Able to estimate and sell enhancement work on existing accounts
• Able to schedule work force allocations and route maintenance work to achieve maximum efficiency and economy of company resources
• Review and ensure that daily work sheets, delivery tickets, purchase orders and invoices are correctly coded with job name and number and are turned to the Office Manager for processing
