Canon WP-DC35 Underwater Housing

October 7th, 2010

PROS of Canon WP-DC35 Underwater Waterproof Camera Housing – This is a special underwater case, which extends the scope of the S90 for a relatively low cost. The camera goes into simple and safe, has a heavy quality to it (twice the weight of the same S90), and I would also say that it looks nice (orange and blue bling). Best of all, all controls are accessible, except to “turn” the rear wheel, you must press the “S” and left / right. The zoom is easier to use with the housing and out, thanks to the significant financial leverage.

CONS of Canon WP-DC35 Underwater Housing – Canon PowerShot S90 10MP Digital Camera with 3.8x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3-inch LCD- I found that the case is easily scratched. After a week of release in my dive bag has developed some scratches visible all around, even on the metal around the window in front (aluminum I think), especially on the back where you face the screen. Fortunately, the front glass itself seems to be cured, do not possess at all.
- The included strap is not enough – you can zip close to the wrist, but it’s free. I left my camera twice on my recent trip and will be looking for a better solution for when the background is out of reach.
- The front window is rectangular and it is impossible to mount a lens cap (for outdoor) or a wide angle converter (think cliff shots).

great shot with Fujifilm INSTAX 210 Instant Photo Camera

October 7th, 2010

If you love classic Photo Film Camera , if you love film camera , this Fujifilm INSTAX 210 Instant Photo Camera can answer your point and this post I have two review about Fujifilm INSTAX 210 that help you know more about this item.

First comment from Sarah … When this came in the mail I was so so excited! It takes like Polaroid pictures, and it’s so fun to use. It has a number of institutions on the side that did not like the original polaroid dark / medium / lighter options, and options wide and narrow. I usually just stick to “normal” settings and go from there. The photos are slightly smaller than a Polaroid, but because they have the Polaroid film to make, this is a great option. The film is pretty cheap, even compared to some Polaroid film was years and years ago. Buy in bulk and is much cheaper. I’m more than a bit ‘in Love Actually.

There are some minor glitches, however. One is that the nearest option, there is a removable viewfinder. It has a small, elegant party that leaves the party and is extremely fragile. Because it is removable is a great way to not take without serious fear of breaking it. The other is the size. E ‘HUGE! Not a hand-held camera by any means. It is actually quite slim considering its size, and is just too funny to pass up. I would definitely recommend it to anyone losing their polaroid

Turntable Decks USB – The Benefits

Turntables Decks USB – The Benefits

The turntable USB variety is pretty new. A few improvements have been seen on record players. One of those is a turntable USB type. In this article, we will look at the turntable USB variety and its many benefits.

Look at turntables, and what do you see. They spin music! They allow music to flow. When vinyl was popular people had record players, but technology brought together music, allowing the use of 2 decks to be able to mix.

Decks are important! So then we had CDJ’s. CD versions of turntables, and now we have 2 major options. All this is well but what about connectivity, we need more than an analog type of connection, we need digital!

So came USB versions. The greatest feature to hit turntables. A turntable USB set of decks allows doors to open! If you have been wondering how to connect to computer, laptop, and other computer devices, a turntable USB a great way to be able to start getting those mixes onto computer.

This opens doors which the older turntables couldn’t. Though connecting up a turntable to computer was possible before, there is nothing like the ease and capability advantages of having turntables with USB as your mixing decks.

The biggest advantage, is that you can easily get your mixes onto computer. This is much easier then putting to CD, which is in a wav format. The ability to save to computer in MP3 is great and saves having to do a lot of sound editing.

More and more places are stocking the turntables with USB. And it is great. Imagine DJ’ing on an internet radio station! All this is possible thanks to a turntable with the USB functionality.

Speaker Wiring – Choosing Home Theater Speaker Wire

September 28th, 2010

If you have a home theatre system or a pair of loudspeakers then you will want to get the best possible sound quality and maximum potential from your speaker system. The good news is that you can get a noticeable sound quality difference from your speakers with a minimal investment in good quality speaker wires. In this article we will show you the benefits and explain, in understandable language, the reasons for you to decide if you want to upgrade to the optimum speaker cable to enhance your audio listening experience and overall system sound quality.

Choosing home theatre speaker wire is not an exact science but there are simple rules that you should follow when selecting speaker wire for your audio and hifi system. Many high street hifi shops are happy to sell you expensive speaker cables which may or may not suit your audio system and it is possible to waste hundreds of pounds or dollars on wiring that is certainly unjustified in making any audible difference on most home hi-fi and home cinema systems.

So what should I look for when choosing home theater speaker wire – best tips?

Firstly, you should know how to choose the right gauge of speaker wiring and this is easily done by understanding that a thickness of wire is relative to the gauge or size of the copper conductor/s inside the speaker wire. The gauge number, which is available by the standard AWG or American Wire Gauge, identifies the cable thickness. However, you should note that the lower the gauge of the wire the thicker it will be.

The lower the AWG gauge number of a speaker wire indicates the capacity or ability to more better pass the electrical audio signal through the speaker wiring conductor. The general standard or accepted range of wiring is from 12 to 18 gauge.

When selecting the right gauge speaker wiring for your home theatre, cinema system or hifi then you should take into consideration the general reputation of a supplier and cable manufacturer and the level of sound quality you wish to achieve within your own budget. You will also need to work out the length of your speaker cable installation and how much cable is required to connect the speakers. If you are installing a home theatre and require surround sound system at the back of your room then longer cable runs will be required and you should understand that a long wires runs cause their own problems in relation to loss of sound quality due to electrical current loss through the cable.

As a rule of thumb it is advisable to select speaker wire gauge from the following guideline of distance vs cable gauge:

(1) Distance from hi-fi / home cinema system to loudspeaker (Less than 60 feet)=16 gauge.
(2) Distance from hi-fi / home theatre system to loudspeaker (Less than 60 to 180 feet)=14 gauge.
(3) Distance from hi-fi / home audio system to loudspeaker (More than 180 feet)=12 gauge.

With home theatre speaker wire it is worth considering thicker gauge cable as it can really help you achieve good sound quality results and also as thicker wire handles the electrical signal much better it reduces the resistance of the cable and therefore puts less strain on your amplifier or audio visual receiver thus giving longer life of your amplifier component and providing a better quality sound output which is delivered more easily to your speaker / surround sound system.

Thinner speaker wiring, generally less expensive, is obviously easier to work with when installing around skirting boards or under flooring and choosing a good quality 16 gauge speaker wire will still achieve fantastic results for rear surround sound speakers providing that the cables are made from good quality components and this extends also to the correct use of cable terminators on both amplifier and speaker ends.
