Envirco MAC10 Fan Filter Units RSR Unit – MAC 10 IQ Models – Model 11156-001 – Each Envirco: These self-powered laminar flow fan filter units have a modular design to fit into a standard 3.8cm (11/2″) gasketed T-bar dropped ceiling grid system. All units feature a HEPA or optional ULPA filter (99.99% efficient at 0.3um, 99.9995% efficient at 0.12um), a walkable plenum, a unique baffling system that provides low sound levels, and a replaceable snap-in prefilter that extends the life of the HEPA filter by trapping larger particles. The MAC10 IQ units provide low energy consumption and quiet operation. These units feature a microcomputer-controlled, electrically commutative (EC) motor with a forward inclined centrifugal-type fan that dynamically adjusts its torque and speed to maintain a constant airflow. The motor also features low noise levels of approximately 48dBA. The digital speed control provides a constant airflow of 50-130fpm over a wide range of static pressures. The correlated velocity feature of the digital speed controller provides infinite control and fine-tuning capabilities for each unit. The MAC10 Original units feature a 1/5hp permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor with a three-speed switch for operation on low, medium, or high speed, or an optional solid state speed control. These units have low noise levels of approximately 49dBA at low speed. The room-side replaceable (RSR) units feature a gel-seal filter element and allow for full room-side maintenance of the unit, including filter, motor, and electrical access. They are ideal for areas with limited access or in applications where frequent filter changes are required. Ducted ceiling model filters are designed for use in cleanroom applications where airflow is dependent upon existing central air systems. A perforated aluminum diffuser screen protects the HEPA filter while maintaining uniform air velocity within the work area. The workstation exterior is constructed of welded aluminum with a corrosion-resistant polyurethane enamel finish, and it has removable clear acrylic side panels. The nonglare, plastic laminated work surface is easy to clean and stands 77.5cm (301/2″) from the floor. A recessed fluorescent light fixture provides 150 foot-candles of illumination at the work surface. Workstations utilize a direct-drive continuous-duty 1/3hp motor with sealed-for-life bearings dynamically balanced and mounted on rubber-in-shear vibration isolators. The motor is designed to provide rated airflow through filter loading in excess of 50% over initial static pressure. The motor features solid-state speed control with RFI suppression for adjusting airflow velocity. The motor features solid-state speed control with RFI suppression for adjusting airflow velocity. Workstations feature recessed fluorescent lighting with an egg crate light diffuser that provides 100 foot-candles of illumination at the work surface. The workstation frame is made of welded steel with a corrosion-resistant polyurethane enamel finish.
