Passport 950ix is OK but loosing GPS signal very often
It is OK product but I expected it to be perfect for the money I paid for it. It often looses GPS signal and the filter on local signal marks stops working. It is also very inconvinient mounting on the windshield. I purchased a different one for rear mirror but it is also very bad. It has an icredible number of different screws which always get loose. In net, it needs to have more sensitive GPS system and contemporary mounting like iPOD or satelite radio.

Two suggestions: Quit using “ONTRAC” to ship priority orders. They are undependable and not efficient. I had to postpone a departure to wait for a priority delivery. After the fact I also have read reviews expressing the same criticisms. I would never again order from Amazon knowing the product would be shipped by ONTRAC. The second suggestion directed to “Escort” would be to write your update programs which would work on a Mac computer as well as the PC.
